For Seafarers

We are open whenever a cruise ship is in port (Excluding July 4).

Our open hours are 0900 to 1500.

We accept USD cash or credit cards/debit cards, apple pay, google pay and other forms of payment.

Directions to our Seafarers’ Center.

Cruise Ship Terminal 2 (Main Terminal). Exit terminal, turn right, and walk 75 meters.

Cruise Ship Terminal 1 (Warehouse Terminal) Exit terminal to street, turn left, walk 150 meters.

Cruise Ship Pier Docking (88 Black Falcon) From the ship turn left, 100 meters to Terminal 1 and continue as above.

We have a crew market on Deck 1 as you enter.

  • We sell snacks, beverages, Health and Beauty products, gifts shirts and items, noodles, soups, and other fun stuff.

On Deck 2 is our Mail Room to receive parcels you have ordered.

  • email us at parcels @ neseafarers.org to set up an account so you will get a notice when your package has been scanned in by our team.
  • We DO NOT need your job title in the mailing address. Just your name and ship name as follows:

  • There is a per package fee based on size (and occasionally weight) $3 is the most common fee for boxes 1.5 cu. ft. and less. Larger boxes are $4, $5 and $8.(Examples would be multiple items in one package, laptop boxes.) Suitcases start at $8 for carry on size. Spinners are $12-$21. 
  • Ex large/overweight items are $30. 
  • This service is for personal shopping. Company business shopping should be directed to your ship agent. 
  • All items are considered abandoned after 60 days. They will be donated to a charity or destroyed.

Deck 2 is also our Money Gram center and outgoing mail room. If you need to RETURN a package, we can assist.

Deck 3 is our library and day room. If you need to speak with a chaplain, we always have one on duty for private conversations.

Rhode Island Ministry

We also operate a mobile port ministry in Rhode Island at Port Providence, RI and Port Davisville, RI. If you require assistance at these ports, please contact our main office in Boston, MA and we will put you in touch with our new Port Chaplain.
