Stay tuned for our next Annual Christmas Gift Bags for Seafarers hosted annually by Community Covenant Church of West Peabody.
Ditty bags present many opportunities to volunteer and participate in the holiday spirit of generosity. This could include helping with set-up at the church the Friday afternoon before packing day, Saturday morning assembly, and/or Saturday afternoon takedown and transport back to NESM in South Boston.
Every year, we look forward to this wonderful time of service and fellowship. In 2025, we assembled 1,200 gift bags that were distributed to ships in Boston, Quincy, Providence, and small ports in between. A few hours of loving labor brings joy to so many seafarers.
